A graduate of Harvard's Management Development Program, Scott has spent more than three decades inside PA education — as Program Director, Department Chair, Dean, Assistant Provost, and Vice Chair of Research across programs at the University of Pittsburgh, Central Michigan University, Kettering College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Misericordia University, and Slippery Rock University. He has consulted on provisional, continuing, and probationary accreditation for more than thirty PA programs.
His peer-reviewed work in the Journal of Physician Assistant Education covers PANCE prediction, formative-to-summative assessment correlation, and predictive analytics applied to the PA-CAT. With more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, 350+ citations, and over 100 national presentations, he is among the most-published researchers in the PA field (view his ResearchGate profile) — a scholarly record that directly informs how MACS approaches self-study data, benchmarks, and the Sixth Edition's analytical requirements.
Scott founded Massey & Associates Consulting Solutions to build something the industry did not have — a team-based accreditation consultancy where multiple specialists collaborate on every engagement. He also leads the broader Massey ecosystem: Edulytic Solutions, the AI platform built for ARC-PA reporting, and Student Success Programs, the multi-modal student success curriculum he co-authored for institutions where retention is a financial outcome.
